Polish-Russian "Pierogi" and Italian spaghetti !
Another trip and another show on which I has always wanted to go. In this year right next to the Spanish and Italian Club Shows I planned to go on one more show - Campionato dell'Anno in Roma.
Unfortunetly, every time when we are in Italy we do not have enough time to make some sightseeing... only exhibition and just after that road back home. This time we managed to at least do some shopping
and bring a whole lot of Italian wine to home. Weather in Italy was very nice, so we were driving in good moods. Even evening rain hasn't antagonized us and in the morning still in good moods we drove to
outskirts of Rome (okey optimism is a bit too big word, especially when you have terrible italian drivers all around you, and streets around the Rome are going only to this one famous way - to Rome...)
Show was placed on stud-farm, and rings were seeded on aligned paddock just opposite to entrence to the beautiful ruins.
Many italian friends, and only italian.
There was entered over 130 danes, and only one except, "our" Korek - El Corazon Modry Efekt.
There were two judges choosen for this show. Massimo Inzoli - who has judged famales, and Fabrizio La Rocca - males. The largest class probably belonged to puppies.
There came ofcourse italian stars - miraculous ISOTTA del Piccolo Jigo and CHILLA del Castello delle Rocche, my favourite black girl - LAS VEGAS del Regno di Fantasia, and NAMASTE dell'Elsa - which is relating a lot of success lately. Among the younger generations - DAISY del Castello delle Rocche and BAHAMAS della Baia Azzurra.
Nor we can forgot about veteran - ITALIENNE delle Cinquanta Nereidi, which , together with her two borthers took all places on BIS Veteran "Box"
Once again the Italians have given me a reason to come back and go to their shows. Beautiful grounds, the organization, the atmosphere ... Score again, can be one and only - Eccellente !!

On the weekend after memorable Euro I went to National Show which was almost at my home (what it is to make 40 kmto Legionowo, instead of 1200 to celje?) The exhibition was organized this time in a completely different place. There was only 18 danes, so after hour and half, we were on our way to kennel "z Kuźni Napoleońskiej" where we have visited Asia, together with Dorota and Alicja. We could not forgot ofcourse to make some photos off all Kuźnia members. In gallery you can see effects of our work, and some photos from show in gallery !

European marathon
Ach what a week ! Weekend 25/26 ew have spent as every year in Tulln (Austria) were was organizated Club and CACIB Show, but what trip it would be if we didn't slept in Gablitz and ate local schnitzels.
Shows on both days were judges by - Mr. Petru Muntean (Ro) and Giudo Vandoni (I). I think that it is important to mention about apel from Mr. Muntean who had said that the "double handling" is absolutely forbidden (according to new FCI politics), and if anybody will do it in his ring, he will disqualified a dog.
After later results you can see that he was not joking
But back to exhibition - the nicest views on both days were success of "our" Fuego Modry Efekt. At first day he became Austrian Club Winner (second year in row), and after that Best of Breed and Second Best in Show !!! On second day Fuego has also win BOB, and Bundessieger 2010 tittle !! Bog congratulations for Ewa and Dominik, and ofcourse another big thanks for common return :)

The biggest craziness of this marathon were.. travellings. At first - trip to Austria, than back at late night on Sunday to home, and after that it's morning on Tuesday and I'm catching train to Łódź from were I was going by car with Kasia "Simbik" Wesołowska to Celje for Club and European Shows.
I would like to thank here once more to Kasia, for taking me to Slovenia. Weather us along the way was not very pleasant, so even same stay in Slovenia was not drawing as well as we hoped.
We were driving for our so-called memory without maps or gps and we were a little bit afraid off how we will find out hotel. But later it turned out that hotel was very close to highway.
Day first (wednesday) and club show. We have lived only 15 km from show ground, so without any hurry we puck up in morning and went on our way.
Problem number 1 - but where it is ?? We were coming by maps made for exhibitors from organizators and we had finally manage to find the exhibition halls, but what now ?? We had problem number 2 - parking.
We were over hour before start of judging but even than parking on show ground was "full".... As I was told later by my friends - they drove over about 6 in the morning and they didn't have place either...
Finally we found parking not so far away from entrance. We took all things, our only dane Uzi (Marcello Moloseum) and go. Over the gate nobody had checked our documents - maybe because it was actually day before European Show. In front of entrance to moloss hall - many people standing in very long line... As it turns out this line was for people who paid for their dogs, but there was still take a lot of time to take your papers to hand... During this standind in line we met few our friends, thanks to who this time was not bad anymore. After getting clear all papers, documents etc. we are onour way to ring - on the end of hall. The ring for black and harlequins (as same as second for blue) was enormous, after few circles on it with dog I felt as after few kilometers.. The ring of fawn and brindle danes, was twice size smaller than ours...
We will remember Club Show for very long (and not only because of great results). Brilliant organization, great atmosphere, or refreshments from the club for guests, but instead of great club, there was not so good Euro Show. This time we came even earlier but ofcourse there was no place on show ground parking. There was no problem with finding the hall, but there problem was with same hall.
There was opened only one entrance. Rings of danes, comparing to this from Club show - disaster.
The best reflection of how rings are small was to evaluate the dogs, black and harlequins when on ring came 10 adult males and there was no way to make even with half of them full lap in run.
We must also remember about change of judge ! The choosen judges for black/halreuqin males was Mrs. Carla Molinari (PO), but because of her sicknes she was replaced by... judge from Finland !!
New judge was Mr. Kari Jarvinen, and scale of notes was used in all. From notes excellent to sufficient, but I must say that in spite of everything he had judged more for European Dane type, than for Scandinavian one - he even forgive many problems with movement.
After this 4'th shows for me in few days it was time to go finally home. We were returning with excellen moods. "Our" dane - uzi, was on both days excellent after very very good presentation. He was also II in class on first and III on second day. We were returning also with many new and old friendships, memories about beautiful Slovenia, and with little puppy thanks to which I'm now sure that Danes are THIS breed :)

Hel
Holidays !!! Yes !! That was it !! And what holidays would be if we had not spent them... in Hel ?? It's like our csecond home, an beach or water is life of Jojek. Swimming, craze - what there play in his heart ! This time it was not strictly family trip, because this time we went alone with my great friend and ofcourse Jojek. On photos you can see how great we had spent time ther :)

Just few days after comming back home I decided to go for few more holidays days. This time I went alone to Kraków.
There was a little bit to work, but that was this good kind of work - photos!
Along with Paulina Pangea we have visited little bassets, and also kennel of Dominika Gacek - Giga La Gothica
Both visting were immortalize, and you can watch it in gallery :)
In addition to the visit, I was also on CACIB show were was judging Mrs. Wanda Kotik (Myszatka Kennel).
Despite of cold day, we were all in great mood.

Hot italia...
Since very long time I wanted to go on show ti Italy
Ofcourse not whatever show, but InterClub - Italian Club Show.
In this year I had finally opprtunity to go there.
Show was organized in small but beautiful park in a picturesque village - Boffalora Ticcino.
Our arrived was preceded by big storm, about which nobody had remembered on net day because just after 10 in the morning the temperature slowly annihilated in the shade to 40 degrees.
Fortunately, a stream flowed through the park, where you can cool off. Judgment lasted on four enormous rings, mostly there were n shadow, but the black ring from minute to minute was entering increasingly stringent sun.
Judge which was judging on this ring - was well-know to everybody spanish breeder - Jose Garcia Abad, he has asked for more tents under which the continued judging in this terrible heat.
I brought from this show many photos, but also I brought many new friendships.
What more can I say about Italian show and italin exhibitors - "Eccellente" !!!

Beautiful and sad Denmark
Many times I had the opportunity to watch dogs at the most important exhibitions of season in countries with European type, but in this year's most important exhibition of the season - World Dog Show, tooked place in Denmark.
One uestion of my friends - are you going? - instant "yes", and we were on our way.. Show was on Sunday, but we decided to spent some time over seaside - first in Pobierowo in Poland (over Baltic Sea), were was very peacfull and calm - I think thanks of time before summer season. After that we went over North Sea were we had reny a little house on dune
Leisure Sea in the picturesque surroundings, unfortunately, did not last long
On Saturday morning we went as guests to the Club Show. We arrived for judgment of fawn/brindle females and black/harlequin males.
Very anatomic, good in movement females (we have passed male judgment) with not so good heads andfadeed colour - but in some cases this anatomy.. wow.
We had opprtunity to meet some fridns from Europe, as same as we met finally our "e-mail" friend - Katarina Engberg and her great Betan - Highesteem Place Your Bet - SWCh, SWW'10.
On Sunday was held World Show. e traveled with a slight nervousness - and whats with the weather? Normally, the exhibition of this magnitude take place in the halls, bu here couple of rings (including danes one) have been separated out. Since the morning was quite cloudy. Fortunately, the run-up to "zero minute" it was getting nicer, even very warm. Mainly addressed the perpetuation of the ring black/harlequin due to very tight rings bet tents. The most important win for me of that day was probably win of a very close to me - CHILLA del Castello delle Rocche, whose beauty every time gives me a broad smile on my face. Exhibition season in progress ...
Exhibitions are to themselfs that they are not predictable. In my case, however, is never predictable if I will show on some or not.
This time it was just with CACIB Show in Lithuania. The decision to leave was taken literally two days before the show.
Despite of the rainy weather we had for almost the whole way, and during the Saturday - the exhibition on Sunday greeted us with calm skies, but cold air.
The show was organized in Aerodrom ground about 60 km away from Vilnius - I guess not all the pilots knew about it,
since Interestingly, during an exhibition coming up two small light aircraft to land at the runway - unfortunately had to resign from this maneuver
because there were spaced rings :)
As the judgement of danes was planned for an 13 hour, I spent the morning at the ring Bullmastiffs (while Jojek was tasty snoring in the car ..
Among several entered was HOUDINI THE GREAT is Dvariskiun beautiful 11 month old junior who, during the final competitions later on the day won both the BIS and BIS Junior (Kasia, Grazina - Congratulations !).
After judgement of Bullmastiffs left us now just waiting. For company we had few little Basset Hounds in this age when ears are much more bigger than anything else in body ... We had plan for this show - Finish finally Championate of Lithuania, and we did it ! :) Despite of later car problems we came back to home with Lithuanian Champion certificate, and beautiful rosette in hand :)

Another trip was - Club Show in Spain.
Show was organizated in beautifull park situated few kilometers of Madrit. Just few km before show we know where to go - thanks to signs with dane and "CEDDA" symbol.
I had scarcely cme on show groubd and what I see - many of my friends - this met on shows, some from Internet, and some which I have pleasure to met on club dinner day before.
After seeing where is what and in which rotation I was waiting for begging of show, but as in Spain - we have time for everything :)
The judgment was running on four big rings. On ring number one - danes fawn and brindle judging by President of French Club - Mr. Jean-Francoisa Martin.
Second ring - judgment of danes black was made by President of Polish Club, Mrs. Małgorzata Sowińska.
Ring number three, harlequins - judged by well known in dane area (especially to this abroad one) judge from Portugal - Joao Vasco Pocas,
and on ring four - danes in blue colour judged by President of Belgian Club Mr. Jos Orenbuch.
In spain there is other rotation of judging than in Poland - As first there are judges Class - Baby and Puppy, but they are judging one by one - first male, than female - in both classes.
the rest of judgment is almost the same as in Poland, above to junior class which is judged after champion class. Certificate for Champion (CAC) is giving here only one among winners of intermediate and open classes (dogs entered in champion class can not get CAC in Spain).
I was trying to make photos off all dogs, but it was very hard mission because there was entered over 250 danes on show.
I found some "pearls", from among the dogs which I saw for the very first time - t.i. ZAPATERO della Baia Azzurra (fawn), DUO D'ECLAT des Petites Vernieres (harlequin) or XAMBA de Can Duran (also harlequin). No a less pleasure was to see for another time
exceptional ZEUDI della Baia Azzurra or VALDEZ della Baia Azzurra. There was also few babies on which we should pay our attention - OPIPA (later BIS Puppy) and ONIXIA de Garaba, or BIS Baby - QUETZAL de Dogolimpo.
After the judgement was clearly time for lunch and the famous paella, which smell allured since morning when they began to prepare it.
Break between notes and finals was also great possibility to rest after few hours which we has already spent on very strong sun - the weather was brilliant (but as I heard there should be storm) -
I spent this break also at making some more photos of french DUO D'ECLAT, and the youngest generation of blue from kennel Baia Azzurra - all photos you can see in gallery from sessions.
Finals - on all finals there were two places - for best female and male in competiion. For example - for tittle BIS Baby, we are choosing at first best baby male, and after that beast baby female - and among them is choosing winner.
But I mostly like choosing of BIS - there were two very very beautifull dogs comparing for this tittle - ZAPATERO della Baia Azzurra and DUO D'ECLAT des Petites Vernieres.
There was no only one judge for this choice, all 4 judges were choosing, but they didn't speak with each other which dog should win, but they wrote number of this dog on piece of paper.
After first voting there was pat situation because there was draw 2-2. To get off this situation, there was draw by a lot one judge who had to decide finally which dog deservs more for BIS.
The drawed judge was Mr. Martin, who after seeing dogs in movement and static decided to get win to the - ZAPATERO.
Now when I'm writting this note I still feel the chills when I remind how we were happy together with owner and breeders of beautiful Zapa
but I think that I will be also very ahppy if the BIS would becaome DUO - see such beauty dogs in one ring is a great pleasure
And I know one - I will come back to Spain in next year, and another... And every time I will only can I would not miss club show in El Escorial.

Before I got to the show, I managed to spend a few hours in beautiful Madrid. Visitting all Iberia is my little dream for a long time, so I benefited from this while to see the capital of Spain. I made ofcourse some photos which you can see in Madrit Gallery. Most of photos made in beautiful Parque de Retiro...

Beginning of the year greeted us with a very unpleasant information.
For the rainbow bridge is gone love of Jojeks life - jhis best friend - Halucynacja, called by everybody Ciuka Luka... Just few weeks later
her mother Flamenco has also passed away, always holding in check the company - but still second mum for Jojek.. Not only Jojek will miss them...
My loves you were gone to fast... It not meant to be like that ...
